Jim Humphreys

Humphreys founded The Humphreys Center for Complex Litigation and the James F. Humphreys Scholarship for low income students at The George Washington University School of Law. He credits GW law school with preparing him for a rewarding career and established these programs as a way to help others join the field and serve society.

Humphreys serves on the Executive Board for the West Virginia Association for Justice (WVAJ) and is a former board member of the Board of Directors for the Public Justice Foundation. He has sat on the Board of Trustees at George Washington University and Brandeis University, been a member of George Washington Law School’s Dean’s Advisory Committee and served on the Board of Directors at the Thomas Memorial Hospital Foundation.  He also served two terms as a past Chairman for the Brain Injury Association of America.
