Zinbryta Lawsuit

Zinbryta is a medication for multiple sclerosis (MS) that offered a treatment option for people with M.S. who had not responded to other treatments. However, this drug was quickly linked to inflammatory brain disorders that sometimes resulted in serious and fatal consequences. At James F. Humphreys & Associates, L.C., we know that an MS diagnosis is hard enough without a dangerous treatment with potentially fatal side effects and we are ready to fight for you.

Zinbryta

Zinbryta, a new multiple sclerosis medication, received approval from the FDA in 2016, but with the requirement that it only be prescribed if the patient had not responded to at least two other MS treatments. The FDA noted that the medication has serious side effects. Over the next two years, more claims of serious brain injury were filed, leading to the voluntary recall of Zinbryta in 2018 by drug manufacturers Biogen Inc., and AbbVie Inc. The argument was that the side effects were so serious that they outweighed the potential benefits of the drug. Current lawsuits argue that the drug manufacturers knew more about the potentially life-threatening side effects than was revealed to consumers.

If Zinbryta has hurt you or a loved one, you may be entitled to compensation from Biogen Inc., and AbbVie Inc. Contact James F. Humphreys & Associates, L.C. for a free consultation on your case today.
